Tough Design
In the process of increasing the blade length by 1.57inch(40mm), we reviewed the contour shape.
The design has evolved to provide a sense of security and sharpness, creating a more natural blade shape that appeals to the senses.
Handle Structure
While the Prominence MH-001 features a full-tang and integrated wooden handle, the MH-015 adopts an inset design where the wooden handle is placed inside.
The handle has evolved into an easier-to-grip design with slight ridges to prevent slipping, achieved through chamfering (called C-beveling) the edges.
Additionally, the contour shape of the wooden handle is the same as that of the Prominence MH-001, allowing for part compatibility.
The wooden handle is made of luxurious ebony, giving it a chic tone and enhancing its authentic appeal.
Please note that each Prominence MH-001 has been individually polished, resulting in slight variations in handle size. Therefore, the handle may be slightly smaller than that of the MH-015.
Hilt Design
The Prominence MH-001 features a universal design, characterized by a streamlined handle with no protrusions on the blade side.
For the MH-015, the shape of the hilt has been revised to make it more robust, evolving into a shape that transmits power more effectively.
Sheath Design
The Prominence MH-001 featured a double-lock mechanism, but the MH-015 has been upgraded to a more user-friendly single-lock mechanism.
It also comes with an authentic Tochigi leather sheath, just like the Prominence MH-001.
Display Box
The Prominence MH-015 packaging, like that of the MH-001, is designed as a display box for showcasing the knife when not in use.
You can enjoy this authentic knife at home in its elegant Paulownia wood box.
