For Knife Maintenance
Sharpening Guidance for Knife Maintenance
With continued use, knives may develop small burrs or chips along the edge that diminish cutting performance. To restore sharpness, light polishing with a diamond sharpener—such as this product—is recommended.
Note: Excessive sharpening can worsen performance. For best results, apply the sharpener lightly to maintain the blade’s original shape.
Recommended Finishing Touch
We suggest finishing with stropping, using a leather strop and compound to refine the edge.
When Professional Help Is Needed
If sharpening proves difficult—particularly in cases of significant chipping—please consider using a paid re-sharpening service from a professional knife specialist.
